German Thesis Award – dissertations with relevance sought

Every year, the Körber-Stiftung presents the German Thesis Award (Deutscher Studienpreis) to the best doctoral graduates in Germany from all disciplines. The award primarily focuses on the research's relevance to society – it encourages young scientists to highlight the value of their research to society and to discuss their work in public. Applications can always be submitted until 1 March.

For applicants:

You're confident that your dissertation moves society? You're capable of clearly stating in a short text the relevance to society of your doctoral thesis? Your 2024 dissertation received magna or summa cum laude?
